2021 Fall Programs for both returning Denver City Lax participants, and new prospective players and families.
NEW PARTICIPANTS AND FAMILIES

We're excited to welcome new participants and families into Denver City Lax.

FALL LITTLE LAXER PROGRAM

  • What is it: 4-week learn to play program designed to get new, young boys and girls playing lacrosse.
  • Who: Girls & Boys, Ages ECE-2nd Grade
  • When: (4) Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30 PM on 9/15, 9/22, 9/29, and 10/6
  • Where: MLK Recreation Center Field (38th & Oneida)

FALL LEARN TO PLAY

  • What is it: 4-week learn to play program designed to get boys and girls in grades 3rd-8th grade playing lacrosse.
  • Who: Girls & Boys, Ages 3rd-8th Grade
  • When: (4) Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30 PM on 9/15, 9/22, 9/29, and 10/6
  • Where: MLK Recreation Center Field (38th & Oneida)

FALL LACROSSE 101

  • What is it: Small group instruction that focuses on proper fundamentals of catching/throwing, shooting, cradling, and scooping.
  • Who: Girls & Boys, Ages 2nd-8th Grade, (*Limited to 15 players per session)
  • Where: Denver City Lax Office (Google Map)
  • Sign-up here

  • When: 4 training sessions month on Mondays from 6:00-7:00 PM
    • September = 9/13, 9/20, 9/27 from 6-7 PM (only 3 sessions in September)
    • October = 10/4, 10/11, 10/18, 10/25 from 6-7 PM
    • November = 11/1, 11/8, 11/15, 11/22

RETURNING PARTICIPANTS AND FAMILIES

We're excited to get back to work this fall! We have a variety of lacrosse programs planned that focus on everything from free-play (Sunday Ballers and Speed Lacrosse) to specific instruction (Lacrosse 101, Girls Training, Intermediate & Advanced training).

SUNDAY BALLERS

  • What is it: All game play with limited coaching, officiating, and structure.
  • Who: Girls & Boys, Ages 1st grade - 8th grade
  • When: (5) Sundays on 9/12, 9/19, 9/26, 10/10, 10/17 from either 10-11am or 11:15a-12:15p
  • Where: MLK Recreation Center Field (38th & Oneida)

SPEED LACROSSE

  • What is it: Small-side, fast-paced gameplay that focuses on skills and creativity
  • Who: Girls & Boys, Ages 3rd-8th Grade
  • When: (5) Wednesdays from 4:30-5:30 PM on 9/8, 9/15, 9/22, 9/29, and 10/6

  • What is it: Small group instruction focusing on more advanced dodging and shooting skills.
  • Who: Only open by invitation, and those who first completed a 4-week "Lacrosse 101" training program
  • When: (4) sessions each month on Mondays from 5-6 PM. Each participant only signs-up for 1 month at a time.
  • Where: Denver City Lax Office (Google Map)

INTERMEDIATE TRAINING

  • What is it: Small group instruction focusing on shooting, dodging, and more advanced skills.
  • Who: Only open by invitation, and those who first completed a 4-week "Lacrosse 101" training program
  • When: (8) sessions each month on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5-6 PM. Each participant only signs-up for 1 month at a time.
  • Where: Denver City Lax Office (Google Map)

ADVANCED TRAINING

  • What is it: Small group instruction focusing on high level skills and concepts
  • Who: Only open by invitation, and those who first completed and passed "Intermediate Training"
  • When: (8) sessions each month on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4-5 PM. Each participant only signs-up for 1 month at a time.
  • Where: Denver City Lax Office (Google Map)
