Prospective Participants
Denver City Lax creates opportunities for
 youth in underserved neighborhoods by providing access to lacrosse and then engaging participants in year-round lacrosse training, academic guidance, and enrichment experiences.
Denver City Lax attempts to:
• Promote financial access to the sport by providing all equipment, year-round program costs, camps, travel, etc at no cost to participants or families;
• Promote diversity and inclusion in lacrosse;
• Promote lacrosse as a means to provide additional education and enrichment experiences that expose participants to new experiences;
• Promote lacrosse within neighborhoods where it has not been so that it will contribute to a well-rounded and meaningful educational experience for student-athletes;
• Promote lacrosse as a positive model to teach teamwork, sportsmanship, and scholarship to provide a foundation for future success in high school, college, and life.
To help accomplish these goals, Denver City Lax will:
• Introduce the game of lacrosse to kids and families from areas where the game has not previously been known or accessible;
• Provide all equipment, year-round program costs, camps, travel, etc at no cost to participants or families;
• Provide a welcome and inclusive environment for kids to not only learn lacrosse but excel in the sport;
• Provide year-round lacrosse, education, and enrichment programs to participants;
• Provide elite training and competitive play experiences so participants can learn and compete at the highest level;
• Provide a team of full-time staff members and experienced volunteer coaches.
